Daily checks

Daily checks that open at clock-in

Give each person the check sheets they need. The moment they clock in, those sheets open on their phone, before they pick up a tool. It can be one sheet a day or twenty.

What opens after clock-in

When an operative clocks in, TallyGate asks "What are you using today?" and then takes them straight to their forms:

  • pre-use checks for the plant and vehicles they picked
  • check sheets allocated to them
  • RAMS and toolbox talks for that site that they haven't signed yet
  • once-only forms, such as your company induction

Daily, per revision or once

  • Daily checks come back every day.
  • RAMS are signed once per revision. Upload the PDF and see who has and hasn't signed. A new revision archives the old one and everyone signs again.
  • Inductions are signed once and then drop off the list.

Pre-use checks that stop bad plant

Pick the machine, run the check. A failed check takes that machine out of use until someone marks it repaired, with a note. Supervisors see it immediately, and the office has a defects list.

TallyGate records pre-use checks and defects. It isn't a plant register for LOLER or PUWER inspection dates.

Nobody slips through

Forms still unsigned after the grace period (60 minutes by default) are flagged, and supervisors can see who hasn't done today's checks at a glance.

Your own sheets, your own rules

  • build your own check sheets, inductions and toolbox talks in the check-sheet editor, with each change saved as a new version
  • allocate sheets by person, by site or across every site
  • each signed record prints or saves as a PDF, and records can be exported
  • the app itself is in English, Polish, Romanian or Albanian; your own sheets show exactly the wording you type

Which plan includes it

Daily check sheets at clock-in, pre-use checks and defect tracking, and RAMS sign-off and inductions are in the Pro plan. See also the fire roll call and card records.
