Who this covers

This notice covers people who visit this website or ask for a demo or pilot. When a construction company uses TallyGate for its workforce, that company is the data controller for its workers' data and TallyGate acts as its processor under a data processing agreement.

What we collect from this website

• Details you give us when you ask for a demo or pilot: name, company, work email, phone and company size.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider logs to keep the site secure.

How we use it

To reply to you, arrange your demo or pilot and run your account. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business. We don't sell your data.

Workforce data in the app

The app records clock times, GPS position and accuracy only while someone is clocked in, plus a photo at each clock. Clock photos are deleted after the period the customer sets (90 days by default). Each customer sets its own retention for timesheet records.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@tallygate.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
